FIS Cross-Country World Cup – Trondheim, Norway
Granåsen delivered again — loud crowds, packed trails, and racing that already felt like a championship preview. And the Swedish answer came fast as Johanna Hagström powered to victory, her second World Cup win, with the Swedish group striking once more in Trondheim.
The new generation tried to challenge the maestro, but in his backyard Johannes Høsflot Klæbo stayed unbeatable. His classic sprint triumph pushed him into the 100-win club — the first man in history to reach that milestone — and he didn’t stop there. Fighting for Olympic positioning, Klæbo ruled his city again in the skiathlon, extending an astonishing Trondheim record with 12 victories in 13 races.
The skiathlon brought a true clash of giants where Jessie Diggins delivered one of the performances of the weekend — no collapse, just calm control and relentless pace against the very best. Ebba Andersson followed with a commanding win in the 10 km interval start skate, while the skate specialists had their own moment as Einar Hedegart celebrated his first World Cup victory.
